Walk through the alleys of a small garden where the portrait of the famous philosopher Lee Saek of the Goryeo Kingdom was enshrined in a Korean-style shrine building. Pass by monuments that were erected to commemorate the anti-Japanese Independence movement. Then, visit Jogyesa Temple, the head order of Korean Buddhism, dropping by the Bhudism museum in the compound.
 
Next on your itinerary is the restored building of Korea's first post office from 1884 in orginal site.  Here, see some exhibits of relics from the old Korean postal service, then proceed to the famous musical instrument market, one of the largest in it's kind in the world, a Korean-style old traditional market. passing by the famous Insadong street. Then, head to the entrance of Ikseon-dong Hanok village to appreciate old hanok houses and various shops that sell hanbok (traditional Korean dress), Korean musical instruments, and even offer fortune-telling. Find numerous restaurants here as well.

With narration from your guide, walk through alleys that have been used for hundreds of years, from the Goryo Kingdom and Joseon Dynasty.

After walking these alleys,  then continue to a rice cake museum, called 떡 박물관  "Tteok Museum" to learn why and how 떡 tteok is one of the most important foods for Koreans all over the country and all-year around.
After visiting the museum, you will proceed to get back to your original departure place, Gwanghwamun Square,

The Real Seoul offers custom food and nightlife tours for solo travelers and small groups of friends. Custom means the menu choice is yours - barbecue, chicken, weird delicacies...you name it. Just bring empty stomachs and a strong liver. Tours are typically held in the Sinnonhyeon Station area of Gangnam, but we can make changes as the night goes on. Group size is kept max 4-6 to make it easy to change plans. LGBT nightlife, too!

The tour price is based on past standard experiences. Guide gratuity, all food, all drinks are included for two rounds. Typically, we visit two places for food and then a convenience store. Karaoke or extra food at 2 AM not included. Taxis are arranged to get guests home at night, but the transportation fee is the guests' responsibility.

The Real Seoul is perfect for solo travelers and small friend groups who want a local guide and friend to show them a proper night out.

We are heading out the beautiful Gyeongbokgung Palace to experience the (more than 500 years old) Royal Guard Changing Ceremony. Before a Korean food feast with the locals, we will breathe in the history with a walk around the Bukchon Hanok Village seeing several traditional homes, Hanok.

The highlight of today’s tour is the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone).  

*Note: Must bring passport for ID check.

Located on each side of 38th parallel, this infamous border was established at the end of the war in 1953 at the signing Panmunjom’s armistice in order to separate North and South Korea.

Upon arrival, proceed to passport security control followed by a short introduction at the United Nations’ camp.

Visit Dora observatory and Dorasan railway station. Discover Imjingak Park with the Memorial, the Liberty Bridge and the bell of unification. Late morning, visit the 3rd tunnel dug into the rock at a depth of 73m and able of moving a full division per hour with their weapons. In the afternoon, We do enjoy Trekking at DMZ Trekking trailer.
